Indigenous Female Empowerment

Finding Your Voice & Your Auntie Energy

A powerful, uplifting, and humorous workshop designed to help Indigenous women reclaim their confidence, break silence taught by survival, and step into the bold, loving, boundary-setting energy we know as “Auntie Energy.” Blending storytelling, cultural teachings, comedy, practical tools, and guided reflection so women can strengthen their voice, honour their truth, and show up as their most authentic selves.

Participants will explore how historical trauma, expectations of “being polite,” shame, and self-doubt have shaped their ability to speak up, and how culture, humour, and community can help dismantle that.

This workshop helps women reconnect with their spirit, their story, and their power — with gentleness, courage, and, of course, jokes.

Participants will leave with:

  • Tools to speak up in relationships, family, work, and community

  • Increased confidence, clarity, and self-trust

  • Understanding of “Auntie Energy” as love, leadership, and accountability

  • Practical skills for setting boundaries without guilt

  • Cultural grounding in voice, identity, and ancestral support

  • A renewed sense of humour, joy, and connection

  • A personal “Auntie Declaration” they create and claim

Team Building for Organizations

Laughing Together, Working Together

This workshop is a dynamic, engaging, humour-filled team building experience that uses Indigenous teachings, comedy, and storytelling to strengthen connection, communication, and trust within teams. Blending cultural knowledge with her signature humour to help participants break down barriers, reduce tension, and work together in more authentic, grounded ways.

Participants explore how Indigenous approaches to teamwork emphasize community, respect, roles, listening, humour, and collective responsibility. Through interactive exercises, guided discussions, and comedy-driven activities, teams learn how to build safe environments, handle conflict with honesty, and communicate more effectively.

This workshop proves that when a team learns to laugh together, they work stronger together.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Improve communication using cultural teachings

  • Strengthen team relationships through humour and trust

  • Understand Indigenous approaches to collaboration and leadership

  • Reduce workplace tension through laughter and honest dialogue

  • Develop empathy, listening skills, and shared problem-solving

  • Recognize team strengths and honour diverse roles

  • Build a workplace culture rooted in respect, joy, and community

Finding Your Voice
Youth Empowerment

The Power of Being You

This workshop empowers Indigenous youth to step into their strength, identity, and leadership using culture, storytelling, humour, and real-life tools. Led by Stephanie Pangowish, youth explore what it means to be Indigenous today — navigating two worlds, overcoming challenges, and building a future rooted in culture, confidence, and community pride.

Youth learn how to honour their story, break cycles, build resilience, and trust their voice even when the world tells them to shrink. Through comedy, hands-on activities, and teachings, participants gain confidence in who they are and who they are becoming. This workshop creates a supportive circle where youth can express themselves, dream big, and recognize their role as the next generation of leaders, creators, and culture carriers.

Youth will leave with:

  • Greater confidence in their identity and cultural strength

  • Tools to navigate stress, peer pressure, and self-doubt

  • Empowerment to express themselves and speak their truth

  • A stronger connection to land, culture, and ancestors

  • Leadership skills rooted in Indigenous values

  • Motivation to set goals and dream bigger

  • A deeper understanding that their voice matters

  • A sense of belonging, pride, and community strength

Indigenous Comedy Workshop: Finding Your Voice, Story & Stage

Fully tailored to youth or adults

The Indigenous Comedy Workshop is a fun, interactive, and culturally grounded exploration of what it takes to become a comedian and where comedy can take you as an Indigenous storyteller. Led by Anishinaabekwe comedian Stephanie Pangowish, this workshop blends humour, real talk, and hands-on exercises to help participants understand the craft of comedy, find their comedic voice, and learn how comedy can open doors in entertainment, education, community work, and beyond.

Participants dive into joke writing, stage presence, timing, storytelling, and turning lived experiences into powerful comedic material. Stephanie also explores the unique strength of Indigenous humour, how it carries teachings, builds community, breaks down barriers, and creates space for truth-telling in ways that no other medium can.

This workshop shows that comedy isn’t just about being funny; it’s about being honest, brave, and rooted in your voice. Participants leave with a clearer understanding of the comedy world, the opportunities available, and the confidence to take the next step toward performing, writing, or using humour as a powerful cultural tool.
